Background

Julie worked for Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service for over 20 years in the emergency control room spending 3 years as the Station Manager in charge.

Qualified to Level 1 in Fire investigation she has for the past 3 years facilitated fire investigation and forensic training including live burns in association with JCFire at a number of universities throughout the country on undergraduate, post graduate and international courses.  More recently this has included developing, delivering and administrating an Arson Investigation module for a Distance Learning Masters Qualification.

Jack Is a pedigree Cocker Spaniel from a long line of field trial champions selected at 10 months for his suitability to the role of a fire investigation dog by Clive Gregory of C.P.Gregory & Associates.

Julie and Jack completed their training at the Fire Training Facility in Wethersfield in 2014 and are independently certificated through The Fire Service College Moreton in Marsh. They are now working in both the educational and investigative sectors throughout the country, including maintaining a 24 hour call out service for the detection of ignitable liquids.

Investigation

JMS Accelerant Search provide a 24 hour call out service to Fire/ Forensic Investigators, Fire and Rescue Services, Police and Insurance Companies for the purpose of detecting liquid accelerants at fire scenes.
This comprehensive service is available at a reasonable cost and can include searching buildings, open spaces and suspects clothing if required.


Education 

JMS Accelerant Search specialises in working within the education sector delivering both classroom-based training and practical or scene based demonstrations at all levels from key stage 2 up to masters and PhD Courses. All training is prepared specifically for each client in order to meet individual organisational or course learning outcomes.
